The traditional Japanese style of sushi

So my roommates and I decided to have a roommate lunch date. Alisa my beautiful Japaneses roommie suggested we go to a sushi place. I was delighted about the idea, since I never had sushi before in my life. So we went and I had sushi for the first time yesterday. Mmmm... it was better than I had imagine.

I personally prefer the "American" version of sushi those are the sushi rolls, I didn't really enjoy the traditional Japanese version the ones with just rice and the fish on top. My favorite was the Philadelphia rolls (yummy).

I wouldn't call my self a sushi expert, but i do think i am an expert on what tastes good. And I would recommend anyone who is in the Provo area to go check out Asuka Japanese Sushi and Steak House, this place is fabulous!!

So I guess I'm not a sushi virgin any more!!!
P.s the Miso soup was GREAT also!
